First of all, a warm welcome to everyone as you read my first post here on the Next Level Collaboration blog. This is the first of many posts from me as I evangelize the benefits of truly great collaboration. I’ll be documenting my journey on this blog as I meet with our partners, our customers, UC&C titans, analysts and influencers all over the world.

My first post takes us to Santa Barbara California for the Westcon Elevate Partner & Strategy Summit. I had the opportunity to interview Chris Leeming, EVP Operations and Global Deployment Services at Westcon Group.

The prospect of a UC&C implementation can be daunting. Especially for those enterprises with offices and operations in multiple countries, with multiple deployment requirements – oftentimes with a very diverse and very mobile user base. Watch the video to hear Chris talk about Westcon’s Global Deployment Services, a core part of the Westcon offering that consolidates customer orders and enables them to deploy their UC&C technology from a single point, instead of trying to coordinate multiple partners in multiple regions.

Because a UC&C investment is not just about how easy the technology is to use, but about how easy it is to implement and deploy globally. When all of that comes together you see greater adoption and increased business outcomes.

I want to hear your thoughts on this, what makes for a truly great UC&C deployment?
